With a million and one things to organise for your upcoming wedding or function you need to rely on a band that are professional, easy to deal with and most importantly highly entertaining.

Arkadia are an experienced five piece band who approach all weddings and functions with the highest level of dedication. We are committed to a top class visual and sound quality, especially mindful of creating that special atmosphere for your wedding day and providing that extra level of class and professionalism for your function.

Repertoire

Band members have been recruited from top well established acts to specifically serve the wedding and corporate market. With the diverse age group at a wedding or function we understand that a broad musical repertoire is required to cater for everybody's taste and all will find the performance highly entertaining.

Set Up

The set-up and sound-checks are conducted prior to your guests' arrival, this ensures a smooth transition on the night with no disruptions.

First Dance

The first dance at each wedding is a special and cherished moment with the song having a personal significance for the couple. With some notice we will be delighted to perform your chosen song, making that special moment all the more memorable.

Arkadia were outstanding to say the least! You couldn't fit a small child anywhere on the dance floor from the moment they started belting out the music to the time when everyone shouted for "one more".
The interaction were our guests was fantastic, they even managed to get the "we never dance" relations in the corner to rock their socks off!.  We also had our friend Lisa do her Tina Turner impression............... hilarious!  The lead singer blew us away with our first dance song from Adele- someone commented that they thought it was a CD.
Both of us and all of our guests were blown away by the performance. A lot of people had texted and emailed us the following day to say how great the day was and that they had never heard or seen a Wedding Band like them before.

Mike and the lads for playing at our wedding in Innishannon.  We have been inundated with compliments about you guys since.  The dance floor was never empty and because we also booked Terry to DJ after, the music didn't stop from when you guys started until late into the night.
I can't speak highly enough of how great you were not only on the night but when ever we spoke on the phone. I think one of my lasting memories is my mothering playing air guitar and moshing when the lead guitarist was playing among the crowd :D

Karen has both charisma and a great voice! We had relatives on the dance floor that would normally never dare put on their dancing shoes! Arkadia just played for our wedding on 18th of June 2010 at Maryborough Hotel, Douglas.
From booking stage to actual performance the band were absolutely outstanding. Thank you to Mike for his help and his kindness. He even interacted with the audience forming a circle on the dance floor to welcome us as a married couple onto the floor for our first dance. I have never seen this at a wedding before and it was quite touching for everyone to share this moment with us.
Karen is a fantastic singer and put on a show for us. Niall guitar playing was unreal actually jumping off the stage so the bride could have a go playing the guitar. Quite a funny moment. By booking Arkadia you will get a professional entertainment group not just a band. The stage set up as well is top class. I wish Arkadia all the best and thank them sincerely for a fantastic night.

Just to say thank you from Blackrock Hurling club minor committee for a great night on 6th of march 2010 in Rochestown Park Hotel. Due to a very energetic performance from Arkadia a great night was had by all (parents, grandparents, supporters and especially the lads themselves). Even though there was a major lacking of females at the function this did not hamper the celebrations in any way because the band got the lads out dancing from the word go.

Myself and Eavan were very concerned when the food and then the speeches dragged on so long, people had a look of bed written all over them but the fact that you had the dance floor full from start to finish is testament to your performance. You had the perfect mix of songs and were the perfect band for the perfect location. On a serious note I hold you entirely responsible for Eavan's air guitar performance on the floor and I will be forwarding you her dry cleaning bill. Bet you aint seen that happen too often.
From our first conversation 5 months back to when you left on Saturday night you have been a pleasure to deal with. We wish you the best in all your future endeavours and if either of us gets married again the date will revolve around your availability.

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for being a huge part of our special day in the Skellig hotel Dingle in July 2008. We thought you were by far the best wedding band we have ever seen.
The crowd ranged from young to old and you catered for everyone there. The dance floor was full from start to finish. So many people raved after the wedding about how good the band were and we have already passed on your name a few times. People who were not at the wedding even heard about how good you were and approached us on it.
Also, on a personal note, you were all so friendly and easy to deal with- just what you need on such a stressful day! We cannot recommend you highly enough.

Dear Arkadia,
Thank you so much for all you did to mark our 30th Anniversary Celebrations of Millstreet Horse Show. Noel C and Mrs Duggan were delighted with the whole night from start to finish and you truly did an amazing job.
It was a magnificent sight to stand on the balcony overlooking the arena and watch everyone having such a great time. The music appealed to everyone from the very young to the very old and I was thrilled to see kids of only 5 or 6 years of age dancing with their Grandparents as that was our main aim of the night. Your band enhanced our celebrations from beginning to end and for that we most sincerely thank you. We hope you will be back with us again in the near future.

Arkadia were brilliant on the night. Even though there was only a very small dancefloor, they got the whole crowd going - including people that don't normally dance! The lead singer was fantastic and had a great rapport with the audience.
Lots of our friends said to us afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen - and I agree, we couldn't have picked a better band. They were one of the highlights of the whole day.
